Come with me and take a full virtual tour. You can do it in your pajamas.
In this online tour you can walk right up to any painting and double-click it to see title, size and pricing. Or stand further back, especially with the large-scale work, for a long view. Use the navigation arrows on the bottom right to easily move around the show.
I work in series, and each series is a natural progression from the one before it. I thought it would be fun to gather a large selection of my paintings from the past decade or so (without the logistics of whether they were available, in another exhibit, or in collections) and put up an online exhibition, kind of a retrospective.
I created the virtual retrospective using a cool new online application, ArtPlacer. I'm still experimenting with what it can do - this is my first stab at putting together an exhibit.
LIVING WITH ART
It's sometimes hard to image what art would look like in a home, and on a wall. How does the scale translate? This little video, with its selection of paintings, places, and people, makes it fun and easier to visualize.

IN THE STUDIO
My studio has been full of activity lately. Two 36" x 48" paintings are done and off the easel - and I LOVE my new models, Haley and Beth. Two of my little self-portraits will be in April's "Mini-Me" exhibit. I've recently enjoyed visits by museum curators, and I hope to treat them - and perhaps some others - to lunch in the garden outside my studio when spring and summer arrive.
I can't wait to share my newest, just completed painting The Future is Now with you once it's professionally photographed, but that will wait until next time. Two more of those 4-foot by 3-foot wood panels are waiting for me, but I'm sketching out ideas right now for something a bit smaller.
Meanwhile, enjoy the extra hour of daylight and the coming of a new season.
