LINDA H. POST FINE ART

I began the sketch for this 48" x 36" oil painting back in August. Have I mentioned that I am a slow painter? But the end is in sight! I returned home from three weeks in Honduras to a pile of mail, including a packet containing the gorgeous catalogue published by American Women Artists for Of Mark & Meaning.

This little video is a fun way of sharing my progress this year and the state of my studio as we all head - tiptoeing - into 2026.

I recently sketched out two new paintings on 3-foot by 4-foot wood panels. Each one presents me with a challenge. "Temptation" is a 12-inch square painting that works out some of the details. I have never painted anyone eating before, but I so loved the look of bliss on her face.

Paintings are included in shows on Martha's Vineyard, the Danforth Art Museum, and 33 Contemporary Gallery in Florida this summer. Plus, banners on Main Street Northampton and a story in Fine Art Connoisseur Magazine. Summertime!
