LINDA H. POST FINE ART

I recently sketched out two new paintings on 3-foot by 4-foot wood panels. Each one presents me with a challenge. "Temptation" is a 12-inch square painting that works out some of the details. I have never painted anyone eating before, but I so loved the look of bliss on her face.

Paintings are included in shows on Martha's Vineyard, the Danforth Art Museum, and 33 Contemporary Gallery in Florida this summer. Plus, banners on Main Street Northampton and a story in Fine Art Connoisseur Magazine. Summertime!

I have included birds in my work for a long time. Each species of birds has a meaning - spiritual, mythological, scientific, even romantic. This work in progress features Roseate Spoonbills.
