But this painting actually had its genesis last year, when all of the images I wanted to use started to fall into place in my mind. I looked through a stockpile of photographs I've taken over the years and began to put the pieces together in my computer. I had two models in mind for this painting. Working in Photoshop, I selected the particular images I wanted to use and after creating the setting, I moved them around the picture. This was my first attempt. The girl on the left is actually a composite of two different models.
